Nepalgunj: Lumbini Chief Minister and NCP Standing Committee Member Shankar Pokharel has demanded to withdraw the proposal presented at the party’s secretariat meeting with the party’s executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
Pokharel said that Prachanda’s proposal was against the decision of the standing committee. Writing a status on Facebook on Saturday morning, Pokhrel accused Prachanda’s single proposal of taking the party unity to a critical juncture.
Chief Minister Pokharel has also requested to move the discussion forward as per the spirit of party unity. Prachanda’s proposal states that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is in the minority at all levels of the party, has said that he will not accept the decision of the majority and has refused to hold a party meeting.
