Press Organization Banke has urged the operating houses to provide the remuneration of the working journalists on time. In a meeting held through the Zoom app on Friday, in the midst of the Corona epidemic, some media houses discussed the fact that their media workers have not been paid for a long time. After the discussion, the meeting has decided to coordinate with the concerned parties to provide the remuneration of the working journalists immediately.
The meeting was chaired by Dakt Dhital, Coordinator of Press Organization Banke. The press organization has also appealed to all the media persons to take special precaution to avoid corona, pledging the support of the organization to solve the problem of corona infected journalists.
The meeting has decided to continue the organizational activities affected by the corona. He also thanked the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) State Committee and FNJ Banke Branch for insuring the corona of the journalists in Banke.
