Nepalganj: The District Police Office, Banke has arrested three persons on the charge of smuggling corn. According to the District Police Office, Banke, a joint team of District Police Office, Banke and Police Post Betahani at Duduwa Rural Municipality-2, Banke has arrested three persons along with 375 kg of corn being smuggled from Nepal.
Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Banke and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Subash Khadka, informed that the necessary investigation process has been started by taking under control three persons and six bicycles while they were transporting 375 kg of corn to India.
