Banke: The number of deaths due to corona infection in Banke has reached eight. Banke Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurumbang said that an 80-year-old woman of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan Ward No.16 died on Tuesday afternoon while undergoing treatment.
It has been confirmed that she has corona after his death at the Teaching Hospital, Nepalgunj. She has been suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure for a long time, according to the health office. At the same time, the number of deaths from corona in Nepalgunj has reached five. One person has also died in Kohalpur Municipality, Baijnath Municipality and Narainapur Municipality. Three of those who came for treatment from outlying districts have also died.
Similarly, 14 more people were found to be infected with corona in Banke on Tuesday. According to the health office, 8 hundred 37 people have been discharged out of 1 thousand 2 hundred 71 people infected with corona so far. Eight people have died and 4 hundred 25 are undergoing treatment.
