Death of the legendary ‘Snow Leopard’

Nepalganj: Mountaineer Angrita Sherpa, nicknamed ‘Snow Leopard’, has died. According to Angchiring Sherpa, former president of the Nepal Mountaineering Association, Angrita Sherpa passed away at her daughter’s house in Jorpati on Monday morning.

He was suffering from liver and brain related problems. Sherpa, who successfully climbed Mt. Everest 10 times without oxygen, set a Guinness Book of World Records.
