The eight local levels of Banke have spent over 19 crore rupees for the prevention and control of Covid

Banke: The eight local levels of Banke have spent more than Rs 19 crore for the prevention and control of corona. The government had launched a strike in Nepal on April 25. In the six months since the lockdown and ban, the local levels have spent 19 crore 87 lakh 27 thousand 2 hundred rupee. The Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan municipality has spent the most for the prevention and control of corona in the district while Duduwa village municipality has spent the least.

The sub-metropolis has spent 47 lakh 47 thousand 7 hundred 70 rupee. Statistics show that Rs. 81 lakh 37 thousand 5 hundred 75 has been collected from the federal government, Rs. 2.5 million from the state government and Rs. 4.5 million from the sub-metropolitan government for the control and management of corona. Similarly, 2 lakh 3 thousand from business firms, 2 lakh 31 thousand 5 hundred from unions, 2 lakh 81 thousand 1hundred 11 from banks, financial cooperatives and microfinance institutions, 98 thousand 1 hundred 15 from various individuals and 11 lakh 99 thousand 7 hundred 73 from employees. The collection data has shown that Rs. 71.78 million has been collected.

Raptisonari Municipality is in the second place among the eight local levels of Banke for prevention and control of corona. The cost of which is 4 crore 8 lakh rupee. Ten lakh was collected from the state government and one lakh from the Rural municipality for the control and management of corona. The municipality has stated that it has deposited 5 crore rupee in the disaster fund established by Raptisonari Rural municipality.

Similarly, The Kohalpur municipality has spent Rs. 2 crore 78 lakh 39 thousand 5 hundred 9 rupee. According to the Kohalpur Municipality, Rs. 22 lakh rupees has been deposited by the state government and Rs. 23 lakh 97 thousand 76 rupees has been deposited by the organizations in the disaster fund set up by the Kohalpur Municipality.

Similarly, Baijnath Rural Municipality has spent Rs. 2 crore 56 thousand in the last six months for the prevention and control of corona. The disaster fund set up by Baijnath Rural municipality has collected Rs. 14 lakh 59 thousand one hundred from the federal government, Rs. 10 lakh from the state government and Rs. 5 lakh 82 thousand from various organizations in the Rural municipality said.

Similarly, Khajura Municipality has spent Rs. 1 crore 70 lakh in the last six months for the prevention and control of corona. The Rural municipality had deposited Rs 1 crore 50 lakh in the disaster fund. The Rural municipality has stated that 18 lakh has been provided by the federal government 10 lakh and State government said Rural municipality.

Similarly, Narainapur Municipality has spent Rs. 1 crore 41lakh in the last six months for the prevention and control of corona. A total of Rs 90 lakh was deposited in the disaster fund set up by the Rural municipality, of which Rs 10 lakh was provided by the state government and Rs 13 lakh by the federal government.

Similarly, Janaki Rural municipality has spent Rs 1 crore 12 lakh in the last six months for the prevention and control of corona. The village municipality has stated that Rs. 1 lakh 70 thousand has been deposited in the disaster fund established by the Rural municipality, Rs. 10 lakh from the state government, Rs. 4 lakh 39 thousand 3 hundred 25 from the federal government and total Rs.16 lakh 9 thousand 3 hundred 25 deposited.

Similarly, Duduwa Rural municipality is the lowest spending local body in Corona of Banke district. The village municipality has deposited Rs. 1 crore 67 lakh in the disaster fund. According to the Rural municipality, the organizations have contributed Rs. 2 lakh , Rs. 10 lakh from the state government, Rs. 5 lakh from the federal government and Rs. 2 lakh from the Rural staff and teachers.
