Nepalgunj: A joint team of Area Police Office Jamunah and Drug Bureau Nepalgunj has arrested a woman with 50 grams of brown sugar from Jamunah checkpoint.
Sanjana Devi Pathar, 28, of Nepalgunj-3 was arrested by a joint police team from Jamunah on Monday night while entering Nepal from the Indian border market Rupaidiha carrying the same amount of brown sugar.
According to the Area Police Office, Jamunah, the highest quantity of brown sugar was seized during the lockdown in the midst of the Corona epidemic.
Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Banke and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Subash Khadka, said that necessary investigation has been started into the incident.
