With this, the monument has got its life back.<\/p>\n<p>Ramaju Man Manandhar, an engineer at National Reconstruction Authority, says by Saturday, around 27 million litres of water have been poured into the pond. This amount will rise to 30 million litres by Sunday evening, and the pond will be full.<\/p>\n<p>The reconstruction was halted several times due to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/english.onlinekhabar.com\/ranipokhari-reconstruction-in-limbo-again-as-no-contractor-meets-requirement.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"425121\">various controversies<\/a>\u00a0including the design of the pond itself, and lately, due to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/english.onlinekhabar.com\/earthquake-anniversary-ranipokhari-would-have-reopened-today-if-there-hadnt-been-lockdown.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"448415\">lockdown imposed<\/a>\u00a0to control the coronavirus crisis.
